Basically, I’ve been all but confirmed that my issue with launching ME3 is with Origin’s client being terrible and messing up something in its last update. I just need to wait for an update to the client.

Even in complete darkness, there is still hope.

Edit: Which basically means that the only thing keeping me away from video game is Origin’s shitty shitty coding. Have you ever heard of closed beta’s origin? Testing? Coding things well in the first place?

And by “amazing” I mean: “holy shit, it just got worse, how could this even happen?”

So, I was hopeful when I saw that it looked like there might be an update to Mass Effect 3. Since it said was paused in downloading. I tried to initiate the download and now I’m getting an error message saying that I need to be administrator to continue, and I am… And yes, I tried running the program in administrator mode.

I’ll try to see if reinstalling ME3 (5th reinstall yay!) works; I already tried reinstalling Origin. If it doesn’t, I have a few other tricks up my sleeve but on a quick search through the forums for this problem most of the normal fixes don’t seem to be working for people.
