How About That of the Day: Former President Bill Clinton was a guest on NPR’s Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! this weekend, and was inadvertently outed as a major My Little Pony fan during a segment called “Not My Job,” wherein knowledgeable people are asked about things they should have no knowledge of.
“So you’re a former president, you’re a Rhodes scholar, you’re famously well informed. What could we be sure that an accomplished person like you would know nothing about?,” host Peter Sagal asked Clinton rhetorically. “And then the answer came to us: the TV show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.”
One little snag: Clinton was able to answer all of Sagal’s questions correctly.
Turns out we already had our first Brony president, and didn’t even know it.

My parents just asked if I wanted to see Gnomeo and Juliet because they got it through netflix. If I was actually looking at them and not upstairs I would have made this face at them.
update: time to play F.E.A.R. to drown out the sound of Gnomeo and Juliet
update 2: I heard my dad say “Why did you get this?” and then my mom said “Idk, I thought it was a pixar movie…” and then my dad said “Is it a pixar movie?”
That’s it; I can’t be affiliated with people who can’t tell the difference between pixar and not pixar films. It’s my golden rule. (#I’m being overly dramatic and exaggerating.)
The closer I approach lack of sleep the more I find Coldplay music to be the only music that should be listened to.
This is an interesting development.

Not liking the term hipster is really hipster.
I’m glad you said that because that is another cop out about hipster: that not liking the term or stereotype of hipster makes you a hipster. It’s like the same thing they use for people who are crazy in mental institutions. If you say you aren’t crazy then you are definitely crazy.
